The Rat who had it all.

Life can't be more dull. A few months back, I found myself content, happy & informed about the world around me.... Fast forward it to today, I ran out of time for those very things that made the difference. No clue why I resorted to writing a blog on that, but the metamorphosis of that chasm into this void is asinine & at the same time intensely discomforting.

So, I got into a B-School. Life changed for real. To my utter disappointment, I saw a breed of half-assed 25 year-olds trying to score brownie points & trying desperately hard to be at the conventionally best behavior. It's a fact of life that no matter what decision you make, the rat-race never ends. You just change the race track and find yourself among a different breed of rats.

But, why am I the only one who finds it so difficult to adjust to the norms of this (rat)society? Why is it that every action gets motivated with a precursor that ultimately leads to a few more lines on your record?  Why are corporations only looking for people who have learnt to follow the convention? Why is there no credit for being different? Why is mediocrity so undervalued?

And most important of all: Why am I the injured rat?

Duh! Humor me.....
