The other day we had an event in our college. It was called "beg..borrow..steal". Rule of the game was to beg,borrow or steal as many coins as possible of different denominations within 30 mins. As soon as the whistle went off & time started, I was horrified to see people running all over the campus to collect 50 paise, 1 rupee, 5 rupee & 10 rupee coins. What went wrong? People snubbed each other if someone asked for something as little as "a" coin. Is that what we've sunk to? And all of this for what...take a guess....A certificate for the winner which he'll use to embellish his CV.
Every damn thing in MBA is about embellishing your CV. That's the only bait that works. People are not bothered about the experience...it's just the "certificate".
P.S: The people participating were grownups... avg age would be 24, who have worked for a year or 2 minimum. Yeah!
